-
Gather supplies.
-
Before dyeing, rinse wood pieces in cool water. This helps to remove any finishes that may interfere with dye absorption.
-
Add 2 tbsp of well-shaken All-Purpose dye into a 2 cup container with hot water and stir to mix.
-
Apply dye solution to damp wooden house with a brush. Allow each layer to fully dry before adding on another.
-
Once desired color is achieved, rinse in cool water and allow it to air dry completely.
-
Repeat Steps 1-4 to dye remaining wooden houses with additional colors.
-
Once fully dry, apply a layer of Mod Podge and sprinkle on the fake snow. Press and shake off any extra.
-
Adhere decorative elements like mini wreaths or bottle brush trees (which you can also dye!)
